About your skipper
Your skipper, Captain Steve Souther, moved here permanently from Chicago in 1972 after graduating from Florida Institute of Technology. He began fishing professionally in 1976 and has guided thousands of people to fish through the years. Along with his First Mate, who is also extremely skilled, they have formed a team that has reached the pinnacle of their profession. About the boat
Our boat is a custom built Hatteras based out of the Bahia Mar Yachting Center in Ft. Lauderdale. She spent 1.5 years out of service while she was being restored to her current full time task of catching fish. Fully air conditioned, a spacious salon with leather seating, a large, spotless restroom and a built in Sub-Zero fridge/freezer for your beverages and snacks. Powered by twin 450 hp 4 stroke diesels which virtually eliminate any exhaust smell and make her the fastest charter boat of the fleet.
She has a spacious bridge with wrap-around cushioned seating and plenty of room for all to sit up with the captain for a wonderful view of Ft. Lauderdale and a bird’s eye view of the action in the cockpit!
The boat features a drug and alcohol free crew.
She is a USCG documented vessel with all safety equipment.
Rates
Rates are based on a maximum of 6 people (by law we can only take six passengers. If your party is larger, we can arrange for as many additional boats as needed)
- Full Day – 8 Hours $1,200
- ¾ Day – 6 Hours $900
- ½ Day – 4 Hours $650
Our rates include all tackle needed, licenses, dead baits, certain live baits* and parking.
*(certain live baits cannot be caught during your trip and are sold at a cost of $80 per dozen)
Departure times:
- 4 hour trips: 8 am and 1 pm
- 6 hour trips: 7 am and 1 pm
- 8 hour trips: 7 am or 8 am
